Ms Shirley Till
BSc (Hons), MSc, DipClinPsych, MAPS, FCCLP
Shirley is a senior clinician with more than 25 years of experience in a number of different countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand.
Shirley completed a Masters of Science in Psychology with Distinction and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the University of Otago in New Zealand. She has worked in both the public and private mental health systems in Australia and Singapore. Shirley specializes in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT).
Shirley has expertise working with complex mental health presentations in children, adolescent and young adults. She works collaboratively with families to support clients experiencing psychological difficulties. In addition to private practice, Shirley is currently the Allied Health Clinical Lead in a Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) Inpatient Unit in NSW.
Shirley is an Honorary Associate at the University of Sydney and an Adjunct Lecturer at Macquarie University and the Australian Catholic University, and has prior lecturing experience at the National University of Singapore and Assumption University in Bangkok. Shirley has been providing Clinical Supervision to clinical psychology interns and registrars as a board-approved Clinical Supervisor for many years.
Effectively bilingual, she has conducted many lectures, seminars and workshops in English and Mandarin. Throughout her career, she has made frequent appearances in court as an expert witness, and on television, radio and newspapers. She has served as a consultant on several research projects, and has published in many international journals.
