Mr Lindsay Hassock

Clinical Psychologist

B.Psych(Hons), M.Clin.Psych, MAPS, MACPA

​

Lindsay has been in the field of mental health since 2017, having completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Macquarie University.

 

Before joining Northshore Kidspace, Lindsay joined the forensic system and private practice, working collaboratively with both adolescents and adults to address extreme problem behaviours, overcoming entrenched behavioural patterns, and promoting improved mental health. Prior to this,

he had experience working with adolescents in a hospital setting, supporting them and their families in addressing a wide variety of psychological, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Lindsay takes a holistic approach to therapy, combining individual one-on-one client work, with parent training, and family therapy. This aligns with an emphasis on employing evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

(ACT), Brief Solution Focussed Therapy (BSFT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

​

Lindsay is passionate about supporting children and adolescents that have difficulties with video game and internet/screen use, as well as difficulties with anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), another learning and social difficulties.

​

He is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
