A message to all current clients of Northshore Kidspace
If you, a family member, or anyone you have come into close contact with, has recently travelled to a region which has been affected by the Coronavirus, we ask that you immediately contact our office to let us know and cancel any upcoming appointments, and to rebook them for a later date, after a 14 day period has passed.
If you, a family member, or anyone whom you have come into close contact with is currently physically unwell with cold or flu symptoms or fever, or is being tested for Coronavirus, please contact our office to let us know and to cancel any upcoming appointments, and to rebook them for a later date, after the illness has passed.
25/03/2020: Covid-19 Update: Kidspace remains open
We would like to make you aware of some further changes Kidspace has implemented in light of the Covid-19 Crisis. We take the Covid-19 crisis seriously and would like to offer the best possible solution to continue appointments with the wellbeing of our patients and staff in mind. Therefore, we are taking the following steps:
If a patient has cold/flu symptoms we ask that you re-schedule your appointment, or request for your appointment to be held remotely. Please note that remote sessions will be billed at the practitioner’s full rate due to Medicare restrictions on the “covid-19 items” not allowing us to widely use them.
Today we have made efforts to improve social distancing in our waiting room. Professor Walter, Dr Wan and Dr Flower have offered to work remotely effective immediately, which will enable us to provide greater comfort for those physically attending the clinic. If you have an appointment with Professor Walter, Dr Wan or Dr Flower in the coming week our Admin staff will contact, you to provide you with details of the video/phone appointment.
We kindly ask that any excess family members wait outside or in the car to improve social distancing in our waiting room. The index patient and parent/s are welcome to occupy the waiting room. We have also secured a second waiting room in the suite next door for those wishing to wait in a larger area for their appointment.
We appreciate your understanding during this trying time. Kidspace will always endeavour to support you and your family’s during this stressful time.
Please note no cancellation fees will apply for any families cancelling an appointment because of these issues. If there are any urgent matters that need to be resolved prior to attending an appointment at a later date, then please advise our office and we will pass on an urgent message to your Northshore Kidspace Clinician regarding any urgent concerns.
